OARSI Awards

Clinical Research Award

The purpose of the OARSI Clinical Research Award is to recognize excellence in clinical research related to osteoarthritis. Research domains include, but are not limited to, areas such as epidemiology and health-services research, clinical outcomes, translational research, and therapeutics, encompassing all phases of research having clinical implications. Clinical research is in a number of Specialty disciplines having an interest in osteoarthritis. This research is primarily conducted within the last five years. Winner will be asked to present a paper during the Awards Ceremony in Barcelona, Spain. Winner will receive an honorarium, travel reimbursement and Congress registration.

Basic Science Research

The purpose of the OARSI Basic Science Research Award is to promote advancement in basic research in the field of osteoarthritis. Research targets include all areas of basic science with relevance to osteoarthritis. Basic science research is in a number of Specialty disciplines having an interest in osteoarthritis. This research is primarily conducted within the last five years. Winner will be asked to present a paper during the Awards Ceremony in Barcelona, Spain. Winner will receive an honorarium, travel reimbursement and Congress registration.
