Transportation To and From the Airport

Prague Ruzyne Airport is located 16 km from the Hilton Prague, which is a 20 minute drive. Transportation options to the hotel include taxi service (approximately 35 Euro), subway service, or private limousine service. Specific rates are dependant on the limousine company and are available at the airport.

CME Credits

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of IAHB-AMEDCO and the OsteoArthritis Research Society International (OARSI). IAHB-AMEDCO is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

IAHB-AMEDCO designates this educational activity for a maximum of 24.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Breakfast Workshops

After the overwhelming success of last years' breakfast workshops, OARSI has expanded it's program to include 6 breakfast workshops for 2006. Two concurrent workshops will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. Attendance is limited so register early. An enhanced breakfast will be provided. There is a separate registration fee to attend.

Registration/Membership

All attendees must register for the meeting. Register early and get the discounted pre-registration fee. The pre-registration deadline is November 6, 2006.

Breakfast workshops-$25 per session (includes breakfast)
(Friday and/or Saturday and/or Sunday)

Fellows must include a letter on letterhead signed by your program director indicating you are in training. Students must provide a current copy of student identification.

Registration fees include: Congress bag and abstract book, admittance to all scientific sessions and poster sessions, welcome reception, breaks, and 2007 dues renewal and/or membership.

Cancellations/Refunds

To cancel your registration and receive a refund, a written request with your registration confirmation and receipt card must be received by November 6, 2006 . Cancellation requests received by this date will receive a refund less a $75 processing fee. Refunds will be processed after the meeting. All requests received after November 6, 2006 will forfeit 100% of monies paid.

Congress Dinner

The Congress Dinner will be held on Saturdat evening, December 9, 2006 from 8:30 PM – Midnight at the beautiful Francouzska Restaurace. Join us for a reception, followed by a dinner with background entertainment typical to Prague There is an additional cost of $100.00 (US dollars) per person for this event.

The French Restaurant (Francouzska Restaurace) holds a privileged position inside the beautiful Municipal House , one of Europe 's finest Art Nouveau buildings. Step inside and step back one hundred years. Gold and crystal chandeliers hang elegantly from the ceiling and smartly dressed waiters attend competently to their guests. The French Restaurant is located in the right hand section of Municipal House, its huge windows facing out onto Republic Square. The high ceilings and fresh flowers spread throughout give the restaurant a light, airy feel.

Certificate of Attendance, Badges, Passports and Visas

A certificate of attendance will be available for all registrants at the on-site registration desk. Badges will be available at the registration desk starting on Thursday morning, December 7 th at 8:00 AM . They should be worn at all Congress functions. Participants are expected to make their own arrangements for entering the Czech Republic . The official language of the Congress is English.

Abstract Supplement

All abstracts presented at the Congress, both oral and poster will be published in the supplement to OARSI's journal, Osteoarthritis & Cartilage.
