OARSI China Evening Session 2019 was held successfully in Canada
The 2019 Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) China Evening Session was held successfully at Sheraton Center in Toronto, Canada on May 3, 2019. More than 60 attendees across China and around the globe came to this session to discuss advances in clinical and basic research of osteoarthritis (OA). The scientific programme included presentations given by prestigious Chinese professors as well as 3-minute speech contests delivered by 12 excellent young investigators in the field of OA. The presentation topics ranged from epidemiological and etiological research to latest developments in diagnosis and treatment of OA.
This event is co-organized by OARSI and International Chinese Osteoarthritis Research Society (ICOARS), and co-Chaired by Prof. Changhai Ding (OARSI Board member, Director of Clinical Research Centre of Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University) and Prof. Jianhao Lin (Chair of OARSI Asian Alliance Committee, Director of Department for Arthritis Clinic and Research Centre at People’s Hospital, Peking University). Initiated in 2014, the OARSI China Evening has been held successfully in the past 6 years and has become an indispensable component of OARSI annual meetings.

The meeting concluded successfully on May, 2019, received enthusiastic responses from the audiences and attracted a wide attention of the media in China.
