The subcommittee will focus on increased student and young investigator interest and participation in OARSI in order to create new and strengthen existing research efforts, collaborations and mentorship opportunities in both clinical and basic science studies of osteoarthritis.

OARSI provides travel awards to young investigators attending the Annual Congress . There is no application process and the selection is based on the highest rated abstract scores. The recipients give an oral presentation at the meeting.
